The dual processor of Sophos XGS 3100 includes a multi-core CPU and Xstream Flow Processor that facilitate deep packet inspection and accelerate various threat protection features. Sandboxing allows the thorough evaluation of suspicious files in a secure environment for the detection of hidden threats. Additionally, XGS 3100 feature SSL/TLS inspection that scans encrypted traffic for potential threats.

With the Sophos Central management platform, the user gets better insight and control over the network, simplifying policy enforcement, configuration, monitoring, and reporting through its intuitive interfaces and tools. Sophos SD-RED, alongside access layer switches and access points, offers secure and scalable connectivity for branch offices and other remote locations.
